Dr. Genevieve Price, ND

Doctor and Founder, Center for Natural Anxiety Relief

Practice specialties: Neurofeedback therapy, Anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, Panic disorder, OCD

I am glad that you found our website, because it means that you are on a path to healing. As a partner on your healing journey, I serve as a guide so that you can connect to the healer within yourself and achieve optimal mental health. By thoroughly investigating the root cause of symptoms, my therapeutic goal is to remove maintaining causes of disease so you can regain a balanced lifestyle. We will treat the whole YOU  – mind, body, and spirit – using least invasive therapies first in order to minimize harmful side effects.

We treat individuals coming in with a variety of mental and chronic physical ailments stemming from emotional stress such as autoimmune conditions, IBS, and hormonal imbalance. Our goal is for you to fulfill your highest purpose in life, and having a chronic disease can often prevent one from doing so. We will manage your care through naturopathic treatments such as neurofeedback San Diego,  individualized nutrition, lifestyle recommendations, botanical medicine, homeopathy, and specialized IV nutrient therapy so that you can regain control of your health and not let your symptoms dictate your quality of life.

As a licensed Naturopathic Doctor with over 5 years of clinical experience, I have completed a four year medical post-graduate and one year residency program at Bastyr University, a nationally accredited Naturopathic Medical school. My bachelor’s degree is in Neuroscience and Behavior from Barnard College of Columbia University in New York. Studying behavioral neuroscience has shaped my perspective that psychological health is key to maintaining mental health.

Dr. Mairead Masuda, ND

Practice Specialties: IV Nutrient Therapy, fertility, post-partum, hormonal health, digestive health, skin health/PRP, pediatrics

Dr. Masuda firmly believes that the key to healing is to understand the root cause of illness and the interconnectedness of mind, body and spirit. She treats digestive health, fertility and perinatal care, and hormonal health, using a combination of supplements, diet and lifestyle changes, and IV nutrient therapy. Dr. Masuda’s own experience with postpartum anxiety illuminated the gap in physical and mental support for new mothers from beginning of pregnancy to the much-needed self-care after birth. The lack of education, information, and support that she experienced as a new parent inspired Dr. Masuda to specialize in perinatal care.

After receiving Bachelors degrees in science and biology from the National University of Ireland, Galway and the University of San Diego, Dr. Masuda considered pursuing a career in allopathic medicine; However, she felt called to pursue naturopathic medicine, which would allow her to help patients in a way that would truly benefit them long term and give them the opportunity to take control of their health and healing.

As if medical school alone wasn’t a big enough feat, Dr. Masuda began the transformative process of becoming a mother to two vivacious girls, all while juggling the full time schedule of being a student. When she isn’t wrangling her two children, she enjoys being outdoors, exercising, teaching Irish dance, reading, and traveling to see her family who are scattered across the world.

Fun fact: While obtaining her undergraduate degree she decided to pursue her passion of dancing by touring with the Irish dance show, Riverdance. Her time with Riverdance afforded her the opportunity to travel around the world, experience an array of culture, and enjoy really good food! More importantly, touring for months at a time in unknown countries, pointed out the stress that can result from this type of lifestyle, and the tools she needed to maintain her physical and mental health.
