IV Nutrients are a fast-track way to boost your nutrition status and notice quick improvement in energy and mood. IV stands for intravenous, meaning that nutrients are being injected directly into your bloodstream. Though many of us take oral supplements, due to the nature of our digestive system, only approximately 50% of those nutrients make it to our tissues. This bioavailability drastically increases when nutrients are introduced via IV. IV therapy has been used safely for many years as a means of replenishing depleted nutrients efficiently.
How it works
Your doctor at the Center for Natural Anxiety Relief will first choose a customized formulation for you based on your health goals, to treat a specific ailment and/or optimize your energy and mood. Oftentimes, your doctor may order vitamin and micronutrient testing prior to starting IV therapy in order to make the formulation more specific for you. The nutrients will be administered via an IV drip or IV push. IV drips usually take between 30 – 180 minutes depending on the combination of nutrients. IV pushes take approximately 15 minutes and are available for specific nutrients only.
While you receive your IV nutrient therapy you are able to sit and relax, read a book, listen to music, scroll your phone, or even work if you have to! Once the treatment is finished, the IV line is removed from your arm and a small bandage is placed on your arm and you are good to go.

Therapeutic indications
While it is ideal to get all our vitamins and minerals from our diet, many of us can fall short. Whether this is an ongoing issue or an occasional issue due to increased stress, travel, or sickness, IV therapy can be a beneficial tool to help heal and optimize your health. IV therapy can be a successful complement to a specific treatment plan as well as a way to optimize wellness.
